Urban Seascape
The Sutro Bath Ruins is my favorite place to photograph. Each time I go there it’s somehow transformed in subtle ways which keeps me fascinated. The old pool walls are going through an ongoing process of deterioration so they’re always a new image for me to capture. The fog drifts in and out, the light shifts, the presence of birds changes day to day. More often than not I go very early morning when the sun is low and behind me and there are no people to diminish the magic of the place.
