Behind Fences Not of Their Choosing
For most people seeing wild animals behind fences or in cages us the only way they’ll ever see them. This is a sad fact, but not one easily changes given the costs involved in travel or the guilt of adding to global warming.
That said, it’s truly wonderful to be able to visit these magnificent creatures up close, albeit behind fences, where you can really marvel at the variety in skin texture and patterns. Rhinoceros skin’s folds and crevises, Masai cattle’s marvelous patterning, worthog’s lumps and bumps mimicking the rocks in their compound are all sights to behold.
